Joanna Joseph Samuel is a passionate and trauma-informed Clinical Psychologist with a strong academic foundation and a global perspective. Born and raised in Kuwait, her early curiosity about the connection between the brain and behaviour led her into a lifelong journey of exploring, understanding, and supporting human mental health. With extensive training in psychometric assessments and trauma-informed care, Joanna specialises in providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions for children, adolescents, and adults with psychiatric and psychological challenges..

Joanna specializes in a trauma-informed approach to mental health, integrating advanced therapeutic techniques to support individuals facing a wide range of psychological and psychiatric challenges. Her practice is built on creating a foundation of safety and trust,
enabling clients to navigate complex emotional landscapes.

During her M.Phil., Joanna received extensive training in psychometric assessments and the assessment and treatment of various psychiatric and psychological disorders. Her rotations included specialized departments such as Geriatric Medicine, Neurosurgery,
Dermatology, Oncology, and Physical Medicine Rehabilitation.

She was formerly a Behaviour Therapist at an ABA-based early intervention centre in Kuwait, working with children with developmental and childhood disorders.
